Tuckman's Model Workshop

In 1965, Dr. Bruce Tuckman, a renowned professor of educational psychology, presented a model called “Tuckman’s Stages of Group Development” outlining four phases that are necessary for any team to develop and grow: 1) Forming, 2) Storming, 3) Norming and 4) Performing. Tuckman proposes that at any given time, a group finds themselves in one of these four stages. Using this model, we will take your group through a journey of introspection and group formation. This workshop provides managers, leaders and team members the tools to not only identify which stage teams are currently in but also how to be most effective while in that particular stage leading them to process and acknowledge inevitable conflicts and changes during group development, how to accelerate through the group stages with awareness and compassion for each other, and ultimately, how to improve overall team performance.
